The Digital Purpose team is excited to announce the launch of an educational alphabet learning game for Android.
The project was inspired by my 2 year old daughter Amelia, who has a huge imagination and absorbs knowledge like a sponge.
My goal was to teach Amelia the alphabet in a fun way, while still trying to minimize screen time.
Gameplay is very simple. A cute bunny runs across the screen in an infinite 2d runner style. The purpose is to jump and pop the balls with letters inside.
As you pop each ball, audio will play for the letter that was inside. This connects visuals with sound.
Once a level is completed the child will earn stickers, which will be added to her sticker collection accessible from the home screen.
The game includes three different worlds:
World 1 - ABC Letters: Pop all the letters in the alphabet
World 2 - ABC Match: Pop the letters in the order as instructed
World 3 - ABC Words: Pop letters to form words
The game is completely free to download. There's no ads as well, so your child could focus on learning the alphabet and how to spell her first words.
Please share any feedback if you would like us to improve it.
